Acts 20:35

This verse is the Apostle Paul's statement to the elders of the Ephesians, when Paul will part with them. There is one word that Paul emphasizes is called " happiness ". The concept of a happy life for everyone is different. Everyone who lives in this world, expecting his life, his family and his business / work are in a happy mood. To realize a happy life is not an easy thing, because the facts on the ground that life these days more difficult.

The happiness must be cultivated. Happiness is not a gift or a free gift for us. According to human size, the happiest are those who have a lot of wealth, good standing, etc. The Bible gives us guidelines for measuring happiness and how we get that happiness. According to the Apostle Paul, there is one simple concept that can create happiness in life, which is to give. Paul was a Spirit-filled man and was entrusted by God to get a full revelation of the gospel.

Frequently asked questions, how might giving will make people happy? Is not someone who gives then what is there to be reduced. But this is the concept that God's Word offers us to be happy. Water is the thing we really need. If the water tap is not open for a long time, then there are three things that will happen. First , the water will become unhealthy. The longer the water is not drained the more unhealthy. Second , in the water will arise germs that can harm humans. Third , water will become dirty, if so instead of bringing life but death. The same thing will happen with our lives, if our blessing taps are never open.

Why is God's congregation never separated from the various conflicts of life, from illness to work / economic problems? This is because we always close the tap of the blessing that God entrusts to us. If the blessings we have never flow, then the blessing is not to bring happiness in our lives but will bring trouble. Let us make ourselves the subject of non-object giving. If we look, it seems that the receiving person is definitely happier, but not so with what the Word of God says. If we can share something or drain the living water for others, then we are the happiest people. Especially if we give the gift with sincerity of heart and willingness. Often comes the thought in our lives that if we open our faucet taps, then it will run out. Do not be afraid, there is Jesus who is the source of that blessing.

Why should we open the tap of that blessing?

Romans 11: 36, "For everything is of him, and by him, and unto him: unto him be glory forever".

Everything that is in us comes from God. But not only stop there, because then we must return to Him. When Moses went to Pharaoh for the Israelites to be allowed into the fields to worship, Moses said that they would bring the children, the sheep and all their possessions for going to worship. The word " worship " means "to offer ". Not only the Christian world, but non-Christians also use this. That is why, when facing what they worship, they do not come with empty hands, but bring something to offer. Thus, worship is to offer, and that which is offered is all that exists in our lives, because everything comes from God.

If God wants to take what is very easy. But, thankful we have a very good God. The Book of Numbers says that if God blesses us, we will remain a blessed person. But remember, when it is blessed do not forget to open our faucet tap. So, if we do not want to bless the problem then open the faucet our blessing.

1 Corinthians 6:20 , "For ye were bought, and the price was paid: therefore glorify God with your body".

We are already paid for by Jesus who came to this world. Peter that Jesus paid us not with gold and silver, but with the precious blood shed in Golgotha. That is why there is no reason for us not to open the tap of that blessing. If an item has been purchased, it belongs to the buyer, so the buyer has the right to do anything about it.
That is our position before God, our right to life is in the hands and power of God, so God can do anything to us according to His will. Since God has purchased our life, everything that is in us belongs to Him, so it is up to Him to do what to us.

Therefore, if we want to experience happiness in life then giving is the most correct concept according to the Bible. There will be happiness if we flow our blessings, for God will restore all our lives.

Do not ever think that God will take every gift we give away. Remember Cain and Abel, when dedicating the results of their efforts, Cain of the farm and Abel from the farm, the Word came that the victim of Abel was accepted while Cain was not. The book of Hebrews explains why God rejected Cain's offering. Hebrews 11:4, "By faith Abel offered unto God a greater sacrifice than Cain ...".

God will reject any of our unwelcome offerings. Whatever we offer, the first thing to enjoy is God, not God's servant. Therefore give always the best, because this is what we must do if we want to create happiness in this life. The one who opens the tap of his blessing, blessed God not only physically but also spiritually. There is joy, peace and tranquility. But those who close the tap bless, then the problem comes.

Happiness only comes when we will open our faucet taps with earnest and with willingness. 2 Corinthians 9:7, "Each one should give according to his heart's willingness, not with grief or compulsion, for God loves the one who gives with joy." If without a willingness, then the vain of all our offerings. The sacrifice must be based on willingness, sincerity, not compulsion, because we love God and we realize that all we have is from God. Giving means we let go. Fuss, complaints and murmurs are just the same as pulling back what we have given so that all becomes useless and we will not enjoy happiness.
